Award Winning Bagotville Air Force Book Box

Display of think4D's award winning Bagotville 75th Anniversary commemorative book box demonstrating various foil embossing and inset decorations available.

This remarkable box was designed to house a limited edition print of an aviation book celebrating the rich, 75 year history of the Bagotville Air Force base.

With only 75 numbered copies available, selling for hundreds of dollars, the book box needed to reflect the esteem of the occasion while providing structural support for the substantial book contained inside.

A special edition written history of a 75 year old air force base deserves a box to match the honour and significance of the base itself. When our customer contacted us to produce this box, it was clear they were looking for a high quality, carefully made product that would immediately communicate to the end user that they were looking at “something special”. The sturdy construction with thick board, the leather-like cover material, the satin ribbon to remove the book, the custom diecut to hold a supplied commemorative coin, and the rich metal inlays (very unusual on this type of project) all contribute to the end-user experience. We utilized a variety of machinery and processes – from the 120 year old equipment used for the metal inlay, to the modern foil stamper and diecutter – completely in house to create this unique box.
